How Do I Get Traffic From My Articles?

One of the primary purposes for writing an article and the entire article marketing process is to generate traffic from your articles.

[b]Check Backlink[/b]

The way the article directories make it easy for you to get traffic from your articles is that they allow you to link to your web site at the end of the article, or in a section they typically call the 'bio' where you tell a little about yourself and give readers a link to go to your web site.

The way I do it is using a squeeze page. I send the traffic from my articles to my squeeze page, then build a list from there. THEN I market to my list, not to my article readers.

I prefer to do that rather than send my article readers directly to a sales page or a flashy web site, as I find that it is better to develop a relationship with my readers before I begin to sell to them. You see, it doesn't make sense to sell to someone until you get to know them and what they need, right? Well, that's what list building allows me to do - get to know them, build a relationship with them, and then give them an opportunity to purchase products from me that will meet their needs. Of course, I automate all of my list building and relationship building, so that I am not literally emailing each of my 9000+ subscribers by hand each day - unless of course they have a question for me, and then I generally answer personally.

Super Tips to Increase Ranking and Website Traffic Part 2

Monitor your competitors and the top ranked websites to see what they are doing right. What are they doing in the way of designing, navigation, content, keywords, etc. You should always try to learn from the best. If your competitor is ranked higher than you there is a reason why. See if you can incorporate any of their successful page aspects into your site.

[b]Check Backlink[/b]

Use reports and logs from your web hosting company to see where your traffic is coming from. Analyze your visitor location and their incoming sources. Track whether they are from search engines or links from other sites and the keywords they used to find you. Increase your focuses on the areas that are giving you traffic and get rid of the ones that aren't working. Once you have gotten rid of the ones that don't work start to seek new methods and begin testing.

Make your customer visit easy, and enjoyable. Also, give them plenty of ways to remember you in the form of newsletters, free reports, reduction coupons etc. Use an optin form to ask for the customers name and email address. Offer something free or something of value to encourage them to fill in the form. Keep in touch through email but don't overdue it.

Demonstrate your industry and product expertise by writing and submitting articles for your website or for article banks so you are perceived as an expert in your field. Send portions of these articles along with your emails to your customers or post parts to your website or blog. Always include links back to your site to increase your search engine ranking.

When not sure, hire professionals. Though it may seem expensive, it is a lot less than spending your money on a website which no one visits. Don't spend weeks or months designing a site yourself unless you absolutely are sure you know what you are doing. Chances are that you are going to mess it up or forget something and have to have a professional fix it anyway. You wouldn't spend weeks learning to fix your own car every time something went wrong would you? If you don't know let an expert do it and use to time to focus on marketing and sales.

When you think your website is done it is not really done. Treat it as a dynamic, ever-changing sales tool and location, just like your real store to which your customers with the same seriousness. Consider developing a blog that you can post to. Readers can check in every so often and see what is new. Even just posting some new articles on your website to freshen it up will have a tremendous impact on your repeat traffic.

Find A "Do-Follow Blog" To Earn One-Way Links

Commenting on Do Follow Blogs is a great way to build one way links. Although you will have to make sure that your comments are useful to the discussion as webmasters moderate the comments and are aware of people submitting useless random comments just to get that one-way link.

[b]Check Backlink[/b]

A couple of years back, no-follow tags became popular after blogs became main targets for spammers. Blogger, Wordpress and the rest adopted the no-follow tag but that did not stop the spammers. A link was still a link even if it did not count towards the spammer's ranking.

After the trend of no-follow tags, Do-follow tags are being used by many bloggers to encourage their readers to leave a comment and also earn a one-way backlink that will be recognized by search engines.

If you are looking for a blog with the do-follow tag, you can use specific search engines such as Commenthunt. Commenthunt has been created to cater to readers searching for Do-follow blogs but these search engines still error a lot and list blogs with no-follow tags. Its a matter of time before we do have a search engine that looks for these kind of blogs.

If you are using Wordpress for your blog and would like to turn your blog into a Do-Follow Blog to encourage your readers to post comments on it, you can install a plugin called DoFollow (WP Plugin). You can download the plugin at kimmo.suominen.com and here are the instructions to install this plugin:

1. Download dofollow.php

2. Save it in the wp-content/plugins directory of your WordPress installation.

3. Activate the DoFollow plugin in the Plugins admin page.

4. Once you activate the plugin,it provides a DoFollow subpage in the Options page.

5. Check the current operating mode in addition to the configuration options.

Once you install and activate this plugin, the number of comments on your blog should start to increase gradually and this will help you make money online from your blog!

Backlinks and SEO

When you first start to learn about Search Engine Optimization (SEO), you learn what changes you need to make on your page. This includes things like choosing a keyword and including it in the title of your page and within an H-tag on your site for example. That's a great place to start, but there is one more important part of SEO that you need to be aware of and that's backlinks.

[b]Check Backlink[/b]

What Are Backlinks

Backlinks are links that point from other websites back to your own. For example, if you look at the very end of this article, you will see a blue underlined link that says "link building program" it links back to one of my own websites and is thus a backlink for me.

Backlinks are important for a couple of different reasons. The first one is traffic. Links allow readers to move from one website to another. Chances are that you clicked on a link somewhere (either on the main part of this website or on a search results page) to get to the article you are reading now. Links are what connects all these various pages and help us get from Page A to Page B.

But it doesn't stop there. Backlinks are also very important in SEO as we'll see in a minute. In fact, they are the second most important factor when it comes to ranking your content in Google, right after the title tag.

Backlinks And SEO - Keyword Rich Anchor Text

Once you've figured out what keyword you want your page to rank for and have included it in the title tag of your page, start building backlinks that include the same keyword as part of the anchor text. Anchor text, by the way, is the text that's underlined to form the link. Looking at the example at the end of this article again, "link building program" is the anchor text for this link.

The words in the anchor text play a big part in what the page the link is pointing to will rank for which is why I recommend you use your keywords as much as possible.

Backlinks and SEO - Authority and Link Juice

Links will also pass along authority and link juice. The stronger and more authoritative the page the link is coming from is, the more the backlink will help with your SEO. For example, a blog post on an authoritative blog that links back to your site will help a lot more than a directory listing on some small website directory on an obscure category page buried deep within the site.

Whenever you can, focus on building strong, authoritative backlinks that include your keywords in the anchor text.

The Importance Of Contextual Backlinks

The first step towards tackling the problem of contextual backlinks is to stay relevant in a business that is ever changing. The search optimization forms the backbone of the backlink service. This can be done by staying abreast of the latest happenings of the client's area of business. Contextual link building is the online equivalent of the word of mouth advertising that is common even in the world that has not been initiated into the digital age. The benefits of contextual link building are manifold. This service provides a lot of information to the customers that the business targets. But this strategy is improved to suit the needs of the customers.

[b]Check Backlink[/b]

This is because if the business interests dictate too much then the customers might feel alienated. So the name of the company is forwarded by the backlink service without getting reciprocal links. One might have noticed that this significantly improves the traffic. This is very effective. This should figure high in the list of the contextual backlinking process as it garners high amount of search engine results. To improve the process further one might add some anchor text to the post so that there is a certain context that allows better decision making for the customer. Contextual link building often takes the shape of a campaign because it requires concerted effort from the side of the company. Backlink service can also be done by following the links that are posted to the comment posts of various blog rolls. It serves two purposes. There is a healthy exchange of relevant information that might add to the database of the company.

Also it will redirect by way of contextual link building some of the traffic that comes in that way towards the company. The blogging network of other link building companies is also a good place to look at. The most important blogs are also often networked with the various IPs so that they are visible in lots of searches. This process of backlink service is not very expensive because it takes help of the existing virtual infrastructure. These blogs can re-direct traffic if the keywords used by the company appears a lot of time in the discussion of their blog rolls. This often adds links to the client website and therefore that moves them a few notches higher in the search engine finds.

The contextual link building is ruthless about the problem of plagiarism. Plagiarising is not tolerated at all because it hurts the collective business interest and integrity of a lot of people. Backlink services also improve the way the links are designed. There may be many pages which do not support inbound traffic at all. In that case they need to be bolstered by the contextual link building so that they show up in the search. One of the strategies adopted is to link weak page to strong pages so that the backlink service works through association of the overall website.

Website Promotion - How To Promote Your Website

There many website promotion techniques, but the best way how to promote your website is by writing articles and submitting them to article directories. Article marketing, or bum marketing as it is sometimes called, is by far the most profitable way to get traffic to your site.

[b]Check Backlink[/b]

In fact the term 'bum marketing' was introduced because it is said that by using article marketing, even a bum can get a no-good website promoted with loads of traffic simply by submitting articles to article directories. Well, that might just be an urban myth, but it sure promotes article marketing.

The reason for the myth is that the article has to be well written with a good command of English, and the website has to be reasonably good to make money from it. It is debatable if a bum could achieve both, so I regard the term as derogatory to article marketing and never use it myself as you have just noticed!

Seriously though, your articles have to be good and well written, and there are a number of ways to achieve good website promotion through using articles. If you know how to promote your website properly, then you are already likely to be using articles, but how are you using them and are they giving you the results you are looking for? Likely not, if you are just an amateur writer, because Google is getting clever - or perhaps the word should be cleverer.

It is not good just to write articles any more and no good just to stuff them full of keywords. Even 2% keyword density is too much now. Contextual relevance of associated vocabulary is all important, as is the syntax of your sentences and the vocabulary you use. If you don't understand what that means, then you badly need the services of a professional writer! Because that is what more and more people are turning to for top class results.

Let's look at what a good article can do for you:

1. The reader will want to read more of what you have to say, and will click on the web page URL that you have provided in your 'Author's resource'. That is one traffic unit!

2. The reader might even copy your article for their own website if it is good enough, along with your Resource section. That provides you with a backlink to your site plus the opportunity of more clicks.

3. You get a backlink in any case from every directory that accepts your articles - but it has to meet their strict requirements to be accepted.

4. Many directories belong to syndicates, so when you submit to one, your articles are exposed to many, many more.

You have likely gathered by now that the most important aspect of articles is that they must be literate, with good grammar and put the point across well enough for others to be really interested in what they have to say. Otherwise they will be read with interest and then the readers will move on. The main benefit of an article is the traffic it brings, not this thing called Google PageRank that takes months to change and hundreds of articles to achieve even a one point increase.

Traffic is what counts, and that is what a good article will bring you. So get writing, but if you can't do it yourself it will well worth your while to have somebody do it for you. If your writing isn't up to standard then you suffer rather than gain.

Website promotion is very important for any online business, and if you need to know how to promote your website then article writing is the best way. You might say that a Google or any other high search engine position is better for the free traffic that it brings, but you don't get that these days with Google's current algorithm without submitting at least one or two articles every week.

5 Proven Traffic Strategies to Beat Your Competition

The primary objective of SEO is to help a website rise up the ranks on search engine results pages. This is achieved by generating an increased volume of targeted traffic to the website in question. However this traffic should come organically through the search engines.

[b]Check Backlink[/b]

Some of the key factors that need to be taken into consideration in this regard are:
o Optimized Content
o Keywords that have to be targeted
o Backlinks from High PR or relevant websites on the internet
o The use of relevant keywords in various aspects of on page optimization like title tags, Meta tags and headings.
o Dedicate a separate page for each targeted keyword.
o On page content should be optimized with a balanced use of the targeted keyword.
o If you are selling things then make sure you have a range of products or services that are associated with your core business.

Now, it is important to consider all these things, but it is essential to proceed by using the right strategies. Here are five most important SEO strategies that will help you stay head and shoulder above your competition.

1. Keyword Research:
Always start by conducting a keyword research to find the most profitable and relevant keywords that you should be targeting. Google has a free excellent keyword research tool which you should be using. Make a search using a single keyword from which you will be able to derive 2 word keywords and then a number of long tail keywords that are relevant to your niche.

2. On-page Optimization:
Next you should work on a number of on page optimization contents. This would involve making use of your keywords in on page content, title tags, description tags, Meta tags. You should do this for the images and videos on your website as well. Here are few important points to remember for on-page optimization.
o The title should be less than 65 characters. Write a separate relevant title for each keyword and attempt to make use of it in the first portion of the primary key for each page.
o Make use of LSI phrases. It is recommended to limit your self to using only 5 keywords per page.
o In the Meta tags you should put LSI keywords around the primary keywords.
o Make use of important and trusted links using your chosen keywords.
o Add alt and title to your images making sure you use relevant names.

Optimization is essential, and here are few other important considerations for optimization.

o Make a competitor LSI keyword research. This will give you an idea of your competitor's efforts for search engine optimization.
o Use simple words for description and title.
o Your Home Page should be the best page and hence it is important to pay attention to detail as this is the page that will generate sales for you. Similarly your home page should be highly optimized for search engines.
o Interactive pages like news, blogs and videos add value to a website. Having your own blog with the website is also an excellent SEO strategy.
o Provide your visitors with valuable free content leaving them wanting to come back for more.
o It is recommended to have a professional website but to limit the use of flash and animation.
o Add a sitemap and a robot.txt file to your website.

3. Backlinks
You can not improve your traffic or ranking without the help of backlinks. Backlinks should be built naturally over a period of time. If someone tells you that they can guarantee a number One position in Google, run and hide from them...they want only your money. Never buy in bulk directory submissions or traffic.
But, the question remains, how the backlinks can be build? The answer is quite simple. Submit to:
- manual submit to directories like DMOZ, Yahoo Business, Web World directory and so on. They are all old directories and have a high PR.
- submit to Article directories
- post on popular forums (related to your niche) and use your signature files
- use paid links on blog or websites with high traffic
And:
o Request link exchange with websites related to your niche.
o Recommend sources, search for links page and partners.
o Search for link directory in Google
o Search for websites to link to in article directories like EzineArticles.com

The important thing to understand when it comes to link building is that the sheer quantity of links is not the only thing that matters. Rather the authority and reputation of the source from which you will be getting the link also plays a fundamental role. This is why experts say that one good backlink from an authoritative website is more valuable than 100 weak links.

Moreover, you should do few things to get better results from link building. For instance, you should always attempt to make use of your keywords in the backlinks wherever possible. Also, make sure that the banklinks are pointing to internal pages of your website as this would help to get your entire website indexed. Lastly, you should also attempt to get your links in your competitor's websites.

4. Press Releases
Make use of press releases. Here are few important tips in this regard.
o Excellent resource for generating high quality backlinks
o Use free press release distribution services like prweb.com
o Search for other distribution sites on Google
o Key point to remember is that press releases are not articles or advertisement and hence must be written accordingly.
o Also make use of offline media like newspapers, radio and TV to promote your press releases.

5. Study your competition and model their success:
Getting familiar with strategies used by your competition is a vital strategy. Here, you can make use of Google allinanchor. But, few other things should also be taken into consideration. For instance:
o See who is linking back to their website. You should attempt to get same links from the same sources to your website.
o Monitor your competitor's SEO efforts and whether they are using: articles, press releases or link exchange to rise through the ranks.
o You can conduct this research for free hence no need to go for a paid automated program.
o If you do intend to make use of a paid tool then check out ibusinesspromoter.com. It's simply the best of SEO tools.
o Doing it manually entails some effort but pays off in the end.

Closing thoughts:
The important thing to understand is that there is no magic formula that can be used to get to number one in your niche. Since search engine algorithms keep changing on a daily basis, SEO strategies have to be modified accordingly. Ideally you should be focusing on both on page and off page optimization. Remember not to lose patience and stick with white hat ethical SEO strategies only and you need to do this consistently. Lastly you should never pay to acquire back links as this would run the risk of getting your website banned by search engines. So, make use of these five strategies and you are sure to get good results.

SEO Secrets - Top 7 SEO Strategies Marketers Don't Want You To Know About

Search Engine Optimization, otherwise known as SEO, is a very tricky subject. No one really understands it completely other than the people inside Google.

[b]Check Backlink[/b]

The fact that there's a mass propagation of guru SEO techniques and strategies circulating the web does not bring light to the confusion. On the contrary, this phenomena seems to bring SEO deeper into the abyss.

However, despite the confusion, there are certain principles that all gurus, Google, and the testimonies of thousands of SEO practitioners seem to agree on.

Here are 10 SEO secrets marketers don't want you to know about (if you knew this then they can't sell you their stuff).

1) Do your keyword research in Google. It doesn't matter what keywords you come up with in your intuitive mind, if it's not in Google's index then it doesn't exist in the online world.

2) 1 page 1 keyword. Google indexes per page, and the consensus is that 1 page should be optimized for only 1 keyword. LSIs be damned.

3) WordPress rules. There's really no logical explanation, but Google seems to favor websites used with the WordPress framework.

4) Keyword your metas. Meta tags (title, description, image alts, and meta keyword tags) should include your keyword for that page.

5) Backlinks. It's possible to get indexed but impossible to go first page without any backlinks for sensible keywords. You may rank for nonsense keywords though.

6).edu and.gov backlinks. These backlinks seem to pass higher than average link juice.

7) Backlink anchors. You backlink anchor texts should be the keyword you are optimizing for.

Backlink Checker

Don't just submit your articles to directories: Create and test the feedback from sites like Hubpages, Yahoo Answers and Squidoo too. (They allow you to add keyword tags.) Guidelines have modified on both sites over the last year, but you can still drive traffic to your blogs or promotional pages, if you are careful to comply with their guidelines.

[b]Check Backlink[/b]

When you're writing any article - for blogs or directories - pay exclusive attention to your first paragraph. Your first paragraph or its first few lines are what typically appears as your feed summary in Web 2.0 article directories like Zimbio. Design a punchy, irresistibly curiosity-rousing intro sentence or two so that people will click on your blog link to keep reading. (You don't have time for a "slow warm up" in your intro.) (You probably already realize your headline should include your chief keyword and make people want "more" - be mysterious, but not obscure.)

Use short sentences with "action" verbs. Make use of the word "You" and talk exactly to your reader. Invest in adding articles on sites that have RSS feeds, so that you are instantly syndicating your stuff. What this does is create direct back links, because when the RSS feed for that sites refreshes, all the other sites using that RSS feed instantly update too. Contemplate of RSS as rocket fuel, compared to regular gas. It goes without saying that you should burn an RSS feed for all your blog sites, too. In fact, pending you've created that RSS feed and made sure there's a button on your blog, your blog is not finished.

And Speaking of Blogs...

Here's another effective way to explode traffic through your blog: Make sure you "ping" - and get the most out of those pings, when you do. Here's how:

1. Log into your WordPress administrator's panel, and proceed down to "Settings" on the left hand side. Select "Writing" from the drop down menu. 2. Slide down the page till you see a text-area box under "Update Sites". Copy past the following URLS into the box, if you don't already have a list of ping sites:

But Wait, There's More...

Join up with Feedbite, a service that permit you to establish public pages as surely as embed feeds on your sites (or any other site), using PHP or JavaScript consists of generated by Feedbite (go with PHP, if you have a choice.) What this does is permit you the option of having private feeds, as well as public.

Zimbio instantly pings your blog and publishes your articles to related Wikizines. You can submit either your Feedburner feed URL or your website URL.) You can add pictures to your articles - you can even create your own Wikizine, basing it on a powerful keyword.

As with Squidoo, however, be sure to visit other Wikizines and articles on Zimbio, and comment or vote. Being Web 2.0, it's an interactive community; and in this way is a little bit of more labor-intensive than traditional submit-your-article-and-forget sites - but the "love" you'll get from Web 2.0 based directories in return (compared to traditional static ones) is like article marketing on turbo thrusters! TIP: Zimbio is notably matched for press release-style formatting.

How to Drive High Volume, Targeted, Quality Traffic to Your Website

Developing a successful website is like a marathon. While you may wish that you could throw up some website in one day and have thousands of visitors the next. While some companies may promise you this, the results are usually not good.

Even if someone does send you thousands of visitors to your site, unless it is the right kind of traffic, it won't do you a bit of good. Think about this concept for a moment. If you have a website about football and you sign up for traffic from a cooking site or hunting site, do you think anyone will buy what you have to offer? Of course not! The key to success in this business is not just traffic, but highly targeted traffic.

In this business, content is king. If you can fill your website with quality content, the traffic will eventually find it's way to you. Search engines reward websites that have content that people are looking for. When someone goes onto a search engine and types in football, the search engine wants to find websites that will satisfy the customer's thirst for knowledge on that subject. Therefore, if you do your job in creating good content, the search engines will start to send you targeted traffic.

While you need great content, one of the most important things you'll need is backlinks to your site. The more links you have pointing to your site, the more the search engines will believe that you are an authority site. Search engines monitor the amount of links that you have pointing to you and adjust your ranking accordingly. If you establish a great deal of quality links from sites that have to do with your topic, the search engines will love it.

So how do you go about accomplishing all of this? Performing these tasks can be done, but the amount of time to accomplish them is unbelievable. In order to accumulate backlinks, one of the most effective ways of doing this is to create new articles and submit them to article directories. When you submit an article it will have a backlink to your site, which pleases the search engines. Another popular way to achieve this is through posting in forums and Yahoo! Answers.

If you try to do all of this yourself, you're probably going to be spending hours and hours of your time in doing so. Why not automate the process and outsource this responsibility. Finding reputable companies that can help you build quality, targeted traffic is essential to speeding up your success.

One of the premiere companies in this regard is Wilson Website Consultants. They have the experience and the knowledge to get you from "Point A" to "Point B". They'll complete all of the tasks necessary to bringing in targeted traffic by the truckload to your website. If you're considering getting some help in this regard, check out http://www.wilsonwebsiteconsultants.com. They are a very well respected company within the industry and can get you the results that you desire.

Using Forums to Build Backlinks

A big part of getting traffic to your website is getting your site to rank high up in search engine results. By having relevant, good content on your website you will accomplish to an extent, but you will also want something else: good backlinks to your website.

[b]Check Backlink[/b]

Backlinks are links placed on another site which link to yours. The best ones to have are one way backlinks, meaning that they have links to your site, but not the other way around.

Forums are one way to create these high quality backlinks. These links can get traffic to your site as people click your links which are on the forum, further raising your stock with the search engines. When using forums to generate web traffic, you need to be judicious in your use of links lest you be branded as a spammer, which will probably result in your membership to the forum being closed. If done right, though, this can be a great way to generate traffic for your site.

Step 1: Find relevant forums
Relevant is the important thing to remember here - in internet marketing and especially where search engines are concerned, relevance is everything. To find forums which are relevancy, simply do a search on Google for your niche along with the term "forum", like so:
coin collecting forum

You do this for two reasons. One is that search engines will pay more attention to your links if they come from a site whose content is relevant to that of your own site. Also, you will get more traffic from these backlinks if you post them in a place where people are interested in what your site is about.

Step 2: Find the best of these relevant forums and join them
Once you've managed o find some relevant forums, you should investigate these and choose some to join up with. Have a look at the top five to ten results from your search. You should ignore any which require you to join before even being able to look at the forums. Most forums will let you do this though, so read away!

What you are looking for in forums to join is popularity. check backlinks to your site!

Forums use a certain type of code for formatting posts by members. This code is called BBCode and is very easy to use. Copy and paste the examples below, just change the URL and text to your own URL and whatever text you'd like to use. Then, save and your signature should be as you want it.

Link to your website or blog with this code:

Learn how to start [url=http:/ /www-dot-mycoinblog-dot-com/]Coin Collecting[/url] the easy way.

In this code, you can see where your text and URL will go. In the example above, the phrase "Coin Collecting" is the place where your link should go. Your keywords will be here as well.

To make your signature appear in bold type, simply add the bold tags around it like this:

[b]Learn how to start [url=http:/ /www-dot-mycoinblog-dot-com/]Coin Collecting[/url] the easy way.[/b]

Almost all forums will allow you to put your signature in bold type. If you put the bold tags around your signature and it does not show up in bold, then you will know that this forum does not allow bold formatting.

Some forums may let you have the text of your signature in the color of your choice, though the text in your link will usually be the default color for links (in most cases this is blue). To change the text color:

[ how to start [url=http:/ /www-dot-mycoinblog-dot-com/]Coin Collecting[/url] the easy way.[/color]

You can even combine these formatting tags, which in this example below would make your signature both bold and in red (the link text though, will still appear as blue, though it will be bold).

[ how to start [url=http:/ /www-dot-mycoinblog-dot-com/]Coin Collecting[/url] the easy way.[/b][/color]

One last tip about your signature - don't make your signature look like spam, as this will led you to be tagged with the "spammer" label. Don't crowd your signature with text and links. Get people to want to click your link by posting good content.

Step 4: Participate!
Up to this, all we have been covering is preparation. Participating in the forums is the important part. Make sure your posts are well written and thoughtful; this will get people to use those backlinks. Answer questions and generally be helpful to fellow forum members.

Each time you post, you will have given yourself another backlink to your site. The better your post, the better that backlink will be for your Google rankings. Google actually examines the text around a link to calculate relevance, so good content is important here. By just being helpful on the forum and answering questions, this should be no problem.

An that's all there is to it! Remember that you can change your signature anytime you like - you can change the text on occasion to see if something will get you more clickthroughs.

Automatic Backlink Creator: A Review By Someone Who Has Used It

This Automatic Backlink Creator (ABC - neat huh!) is a paid plugin for your WordPress blog, and heck who needs to buy plugin when there are all those free ones out there. It better be good!

[b]Check Backlink[/b]

The best bit about it is that it will get you backlinks for ANY site you have - not just blogs.

[For a little bit of background, WordPress is the most popular free software for creating blogs, and plugins like Automatic Backlink Creator add extra functions.]

What does the Automatic Backlink Creator actually do?

Well it does what it says. It creates lots and lots of links back to your website, ie backlinks, which are vital because they are the 'popularity contest' on the internet.

As a rule of thumb, more backlinks means showing up higher in the search engine rankings, so more people find your site when they search, and click through to you.

You attract qualified visitors - and all for free. FREE traffic is exactly why I love SEO!

But you must get those backlinks, and creating them can be a real hassle.

What would help most is an autopilot, set-and-forget backlink generator...

The Automatic Back link Creator can get backlinks in two ways.

The first way is as a direct link from other blogs that have the Automatic Backlink Creator plugin.

Each blog displays a random set of up to 10 backlinks from the Automatic Backlink Creator network using a 'widget'. A bit like am instant blogroll, you show links from other people's site, and they show links from yours.

But your links can point to ANY site you have. Heck they can even be affiliate links, whatever you want.

You get much more than just one link back because your links on other people's blogs are changed each time the page is refreshed. Each time a search engine looks at the page it sees new links to follow, and some of them will be yours.

Even better, you can specify the keyword you want to show for that link AND you can give the plugin multiple keywords and have it change them randomly (ie 'spin' keywords.) This is much better SEO than having to choose one keyword only for your link.

Hold on a moment.

This leaves one obvious problem - your links show-up, and then immediately disappear. Does this matter?

Well Greg the author of the Automatic Backlink Creator says that Google will still keep the value of the links for quite a while, so it will work, just not permanently. That's all fine, but when did anyone running a scam tell you anything otherwise, so I did my own testing as you will see below.

But before we get to this the Automatic Backlink Creator also claims to create longer lasting back links.

This is the second way it creates backlinks - with its own article publishing service.

Once again, there is a swap arrangement. You publish articles from the plugin network on your blog, and in return you are allowed to publish articles on other sites that use the plugin. In these articles you will of course have links pointing back to whatever you want.

The search engines then find those backlinks and reward you again.

This part might be slower at building backlinks, BUT your links will last much better.

In effect this backlink plugin is giving you a two-punch solution. You get lots of temporary links fast, and then come the lasting links later on.

Very neat eh?

If you can manage to have your site showing on the first pages when people use search engines, this will mean that you are able to get traffic to your site. Perhaps the best known strategy used for the creation of free backlinks is by article writing. The various article directories are an excellent way to circulate your content and if you produce quality articles, they may even go viral, but you need to ensure that you include several backlinks to your site. There are many listings of article directories on the Internet. Amongst the best article directories are EzineArticles, Amazines, Idea Marketers, Article Biz and Article City. When writing an article, it is perhaps a good strategy to decide upon your keyword and then write a good quality article around that. You should then spin the title and first paragraph by using software such as Free Article Spinner, ensuring you despatch a unique copy of it to at least ten article directories.

If you have just started a site, you need to ensure you promote it, so you should produce a press release and send it to the various PR websites. This has proved to be one of the best ways to improve your page rank. You can use Word Press, which will offer a great deal of search engine optimisation tools and features you will require for your backlink promotion.

Many use Squidoo for the promotion of their web pages. It is a marketing tool whereby you can create your own pages and post whatever may be of interest to you, placing your links into the resource box. Google provide Blogger, which has become one of the more acknowledged sites where you can post articles and receive free backlinks. Search out the various business directories and then submit your website details. Examples of these are Google Places, Yelp and Yellow Pages. Ensure that you only leave your details on sites that are relevant to you niche content, or such links will not be worth much to the search engines.

If you are able to utilise some of the methods mentioned, you will be able to boost your rankings, but you need to bear in mind that the content you submit must be quality content. Give your readers valuable information and then they will want to come to your site to learn more.

In this code, you can see where your text and URL will go. In the example above, the phrase "Coin Collecting" is the place where your link should go. Your keywords will be here as well.

To make your signature appear in bold type, simply add the bold tags around it like this:

Almost all forums will allow you to put your signature in bold type. If you put the bold tags around your signature and it does not show up in bold, then you will know that this forum does not allow bold formatting.

Some forums may let you have the text of your signature in the color of your choice, though the text in your link will usually be the default color for links (in most cases this is blue). To change the text color:

You can even combine these formatting tags, which in this example below would make your signature both bold and in red (the link text though, will still appear as blue, though it will be bold).

Hot Traffic Tips - Understanding the Anatomy of a Strong Backlink

In order to achieve a high ranking position with the Search Engines, it is without doubt today that you need backlinks. But having low quality backlinks is not going to help you much given the advanced techniques that Search Engines use today. You should settle for nothing but strong backlinks if you want to succeed with SEO.

[b]Check Backlink[/b]

Some Internet Marketers pay a meager ten dollars for a service that gets them a thousand backlinks. They quickly learned that those links end up hurting their website ranking more than anything else because Search Engines are cautious about overnight increased in links pointing to your webpages.

It is far more advantages to have a single high quality link coming from a recognized source than to have a hundred of those from multiple poorly graded sites.

To do so you would have to understand the anatomy of a strong backlink:

Page Rank

A page rank is a page positioning number ranging from one to ten that is assigned by Google based on how highly it "qualifies" a web page. The higher a page rank number, the more valuable it is to have a backlink coming from one of these sites.

Age of Website

The age of a website linking to you is also an important factor. If the Search Engines find out that most of the websites linking to you are newly constructed sites, it is not going to give you a high regard. The reserve is also true, so it is going to do you good if you can get websites that are at least a few years old to link back to you.

Number of Additional Links on Website

This is also something you want to consider. Even if you are getting a link from a highly ranked website, but if the same website has fifty other links pointing to other webpages as well, it is not going to help you very much when the Search Engines analyze the source.

Website with Authority

There are websites out there that Search Engines regard as top dogs, such as those that are linked to government services or prestigious schools. Having a link from these sources is definitely a strong backlink.

Relevancy of content

Last but not least, having a site linking to you with content that is relevant to your niche is crucial. Obviously, a site that promotes satellite television has no relevance to yours if you are selling bicycle accessories.

With an understanding of how a good backlink works, you should be targeting very specific sources going forward to earn you that strong backlink that you deserve.
