Yes, many a times I have written in my previous articles that content is king and Google is always behind the fresh content and this is the only thing that makes your site look fresh and listed higher on the search engine. As per Google norms, you must regularly add fresh content to your site so that Google will visit the site everyday and list it. if "Content is the King" in SEO, then "Links are the Queen" of SEO.
But let's have a race. You built a website where you add fresh content to it everyday following all the Google norms, while for me I will just prepare a single page website having some information about the widgets and will only run after getting links. Then after few months we would check the ranking of both the sites. And to your surprise and for your information let me tell you, I would surely be ranking higher than your website.
So my friends, mark my words if you are not able to add fresh content to your site everyday, don't worry. Just go after link building, this would turn out to be a boost to your search engine ranking. As even Google also admits that the page that has more number of links, must be of great importance and thus it ranks the page higher in the search engines.
So now you can allocate your time accordingly. Spare more amount of time in building links rather than updating the content everyday. It is surely a cheaper and faster way to attain high search engine rankings. I have already started practicing it. Now you can also make your move.
